EQ isn’t the only way to tweak your tone. Your mixer’s pan control allows you to move sound between Left and Right channels in a stereo system. Lead vocals are panned to the center along with, usually, the kick drum, snare and bass — but other instruments and backing vocals may be panned to the left or right.
